Is it "Pure Land" essentially just Christianized version of Buddhism?

In the Pure Land Buddhism, nirvana is almost unattainable. Therefore, it requests the Buddha Amitabha as a personal intercessor. Therefore, it is reborn in the Pure Land where enlightenment is guaranteed for eternity. In Christianity, salvation is almost impossible to achieve. Therefore, we pray to Jesus Christ as an intercessor personal. Therefore, it is reborn in heaven, where happiness is guaranteed forever. Is there a parallel here?

Not really. Pure Land Buddhist seen the day before have been exposed to Christian thought well. In Buddhism, Nirvana is achieved by separating the spirit of karma and desire, where the mind also bind a person in the world several times, the return in new incarnation after the death. Buddha offered a way by which a person is supposed to be able to get rid of desire through meditation and purification. Pure Land is another way to achieve the same thing. And he does not carry the same burden of guilt that Christianity does. You are not in need of the Pure Land because you are a sinner. You believe that the intercession of the Buddha Amitabha has created a way to reach enlightenment more easily, get rid of karma and desire without the kind of restrictions that other branches of Buddhism believe necessary.
