kids bible study activities

There have been many surveys taken to determine the statistics of how many young people who remain in the church by choice once they are free to make their own decisions. One statistical records that 88% or more of church youth (who are regular participants) Leave and never return once they are out of school. What could be the reason? And there is no way to prevent occur?
I think there are many reasons why young people choose to leave the church, and one reason is particularly remarkable: most of these young people do not, for the most part, been engaged for a Bible study, but they were simply going to church to attend services (and see friends). For this reason, they do not have a solid knowledge of God and His Word, and do not see it as being personal with them. Many may have even said a prayer of confession and repentance of sin, but the movement seemed to be simply not having to fear hell, and they missed the importance of having a relationship with their heavenly Father.
But if they are saved, why do they do not study the Bible?
 • If you were to ask them, there is a good possibility they will tell you that it is mainly because they are simply not enough time.
 • The time they are given all sorts of leisure time with friends, time with electronics, all they can think of to occupy their time.
 • The effort it takes to think for the achievement of insight is often little interest. If they can do quickly and without much extra effort, they could accept.
 • The youth of today believe that the teenage years are when it is time bounce back and do what you want. In their shortsightedness, they believe they will have time to serious later in life.
 • Listed on the end but have a huge impact is the following: Parents reign incredible influence and habits of young people through their personal examples and assistance.
So, if we were to help a teen to eliminate misconceptions, and ask him in a study of the Bible, not the style of study the Bible makes a difference in their growth? Well, look at the types of study:
 • Basic / Light Job:
When you look at the sections of devotion in bookstores today, you will find an overwhelming amount of fast devotionals for people (young and old) on the go with busy lifestyles. These studies are short and simple to encourage people to take at least five minutes of their time to devote to reading and meditation of the Bible. The topics of these books are intended to help meet the spiritual needs of people. Although these studies are better than nothing if someone were to spend years taking only short, basic truths, there would be no depth of relationship with God. Many adolescents which have been challenged to maintain a time of daily study of the Bible choose these types of studies of reading because they are quick and easy, and demand is very small ( "Think what you go about your day").
 • In depth / Challenging studies:
Solid, the life in the face of Bible studies are for teenagers, and are destined to change lives. They are the least popular type of study because of the intensity especially in the field of application. The application answers questions that are of the Bible, and frankly recognize the distorted thinking of the mind sinful. Combining studies and application of the text means that there must be more time involved, and it would be very difficult to dismiss or forget these powerful studies.
So many young people today know little or nothing about the Scriptures, even those who are frequently the church context. An excellent study to lay the foundations of the Bible to them is one that explains the entire Bible. From beginning to end, what is the story Overall the Bible, and does it affect life today? This study had a remarkable effect with adolescents, adults and children. It is understood overwhelming a holy God, the helplessness of people, and the incredible sacrifice that was paid for all the people to restore relationships with God. After that he there is genuine commitment to have and maintain this relationship.
Please join to challenge teens to a life centered about God lives by showing them they can and must "blend" with Bible studies.
