jewish religion children

I have a friend whose father is English and his mother is Jewish Israeli. What does that make her? I know that
girl will focus on the Jewish religion based on religion. In earlier conversations, she mentioned that she had no future with that guy seen because of religion (he is Christian). Can anyone throw a clearer light on this? I think that in this era especially given that his father is English (and Christian) and it's totally English should not really be a problem. What about his brother? If he married someone not Jewish and the children are not Jewish, but if it does then the children will be Jewish. All a bit confusing.
If his mother was a Jew, then she is a Jew by birth. This does not necessarily mean it must follow Judaism as a religion though. But regardless of religion, she chooses to follow, it will always be a Jew by birth. If she chooses Christianity, but it will not be considered Jewish by the Jewish community. Christianity is not transmitted by birth like that, if his father can not pass it down this way. He can teach him about Christianity, but it can always choose or not choose as a religion to practice. She did not choose to be a Jew. Her mother was, it is by blood. If his father was Jewish, then the only thing he would cut passage is tribal. A father can not transmit a Jew a child by blood. Reform Judaism, of course, changed the law for themselves on this because the reform movement consists mainly of men Jews married to non-Jewish women. The traditional Orthodox Judaism has always been that a Jew is transmitted through the blood of the mother. Recently, science actually discovered the gene "Jew." It is located on the mtDNA, mitochondrial DNA in each cell of a Jewish person's body, but is passed only by mothers. So, if a mother has a son, it goes through the gene to him, but the son can not transmit their own children. Only daughters can pass down to their children. That is why the son should marry a Jewish woman, so that their children are Jews by birth. As an aside: Then there is the Kohen gene, which is the ancient Jewish priestly gene that was located on the male Y chromosome, since the time of Aaron the first priest assigned by God. 75% of Jewish families who have preserved the tradition of being Cohanim (priests) since ancient times, came up positive for this gene in the test for her. Thus, men do not pass this difference to their son, but not their daughters, of course, since girls have no Y chromosome It is also the tribal affiliation of Levi, where priests were assigned. Back to the topic of your Friend: If your friend who is Jewish, marries a non-Jew, his children are Jewish, but it is usually very difficult to raise children in these circumstances, If a parent wishes to observe a religion and worry that their children are the same religion, and one wants to live by their religion and who wants children to be the their religion. Especially if both parents are religious types. Children may end up hating the two religions, really tired of the argument on her by parents. Yes you are right, if his brother married a non-Jew, his children are not Jewish. His brother will then cut a whole branch of Jews that would have existed. It is something that he and a future non-Jewish spouse need to consider very, very carefully before deciding that something is ok with them much to do. Regarding religion, even if your friend is born Jew, she can choose to practice Christianity. Or it may choose to practice Judaism. In both cases, it will always be a Jew by birth. If she chooses to practice Christianity, but it will not be considered Jewish, part of the Jewish community, etc. It is because Christianity is idolatry about Judaism – with its turning God in man, worship that man, the human sacrifice virgin for sin, the Messiah born of a virgin and a god, etc which are all taken from ancient religions pagan, not Judaism. Hope this helps clear things are for you
