Why are people so the spirit of unbelief? (when compared to Jesus Christ, Mother Teresa, etc.)?
Let's face it. Humans are now the players, money hungry … well … just ungodly attitudes, when compared to people of Jesus Christ and Mother Teresa. Humans nowadays almost satan replicate in his own image and likeness, how they behave, treat others and act. It's sad but true. But why? I mean … life is so bad that people have to act so wicked?
MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS OF LAST DAYS "We Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. "(Matthew 24:7) Millions of people have been killed in wars during the past century. A British historian wrote: "The 20th century was the bloodiest in history. … It was a century of almost continuous war, with rare and brief periods without organized armed conflict somewhere. "A report by the Worldwatch Institute says:" Three times more people have been victims the war [the 20th] century, as in all wars of the first century AD to 1899. "Over 100 million people died as a result of wars since 1914. Even if we know the pain of losing a loved one in war, we can only imagine such misery and pain multiplied millions of times. "There will be food shortages." (Matthew 24:7) Researchers say that food production has increased considerably over the last 30 years. However, food shortages continue because many people do not have enough money to buy food or land on which raise crops. In developing countries, more than one billion people must live on an income of one dollar or less per day. The majority of suffer from chronic hunger. The World Health Organization estimates that malnutrition plays a major role in the deaths of more than five million children every year. "There will be great earthquakes." (Luke 21:11) According to the U.S. Geological Survey, since 1990 alone an average of 17 earthquakes per year were powerful enough to damage buildings and crack the ground. And on average, earthquakes strong enough to cause total destruction of buildings are produced annually. Another source states: "Earthquakes have claimed hundreds of thousands of lives over the past 100 years and improvements in technology have reduced only slightly the number of dead. " There will be … plagues. (Luke 21:11) Despite medical advances, disease, old and new plague mankind. One report indicates that 20 well-known diseases, including tuberculosis, malaria and cholera have become more frequent in recent decades, and some types of disease are more difficult to cure through drugs. In fact, at least 30 new diseases have emerged. Some of they have no known cure and is fatal. PEOPLE OF THE LAST DAYS Besides the identification of certain developments in the world, the Bible predicts that the last days will be marked by a change in human society. The apostle Paul describes what people in general would be similar. In 2 Timothy 3:1-5, we read: "In the last days critical times hard to handle will be there." In part, Paul said that people would love to be themselves ▪ ▪ ▪ lovers of money disobedient to parents ▪ ▪ ▪ unfair having no natural affection, without self-control ▪ ▪ fierce lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God ▪ having a form of godly devotion but lacking in power
