Christian Vegetarianism – the order you should not kill?

Hi, I'm going back to Christ after having been "in the dark" for some time) One of the habits, while the gap "I picked (mostly by personal beliefs or Buddhist) is not to eat animals. I think it is wrong-period. I had the pressure of Christians: "God said to eat meat" etc etc and I feel as if I did not eat meat because God says so. But I must say that I'm sick every time. Does Gods commandment "thou shall not kill 'Appy to animals? It is a command after all, do not kill !!!!! Yes, there is the argument Christians do not kill the real animal, it is not what I discussed here. (respectivly) So Can vegetarians Christian offers some support for me or some other conventional wisdom? Thank you!

No, killing the plants so you can eat is not part of the "Do not kill" command. Is not correctly update killing animals for food. However, there is no command that you must eat animals every day. I know that many within the Jewish community are vegetarian 6 days a week and not eating meat on the Sabbath. Eating meat was a rare thing in biblical times, you done at times of sacrifice of animals and special to celebrate and it was. (Sabbath is a celebration that explains why the rabbis say you must eat meat on the Sabbath). So do not let them put you on a sense of guilt because you do not eat meat.
