1. Host a Family Game Night
Chances are, your homeschoolers will be looking enviously at their bedroom windows to October 31 if you make your own indoor amusement. A night game of the family is a wonderful way to have fun, safe thinking. Reducing dust, games, to pop the popcorn and get ready for an evening of friendly competition. Price Candy and treats the theme of autumn like apples and candy pie pumpkin will help your children to forget the trick-or-treating. You can also meet with other families homeschooling for a test Homeschool Homeschool vs. strength. Be sure to have at least one family member at the door to pass candy. The last thing you want to do is to detach as strange and hostile. There is nothing wrong with passing candy, and you can also pass through contracts with a friendly smile. Do not cut yourself inside and ignore your neighbors.
2. Go to a festival of Harvest
When my children think of Halloween they think of our church annual Harvest Party. This fun night occurs every October 31st as a safe, fun Halloween alternative. Races, piles of leaves, corn mazes, and more fill the night with glee. There are low prices of candy in each room plus great prizes like video games, bibles, and scooters. Believe it or not, I actually prefer homeschoolers go to the festival of Harvest over trick-or-treating. If your Church does not hold a Halloween alternative, the meeting with your fellow homeschooling parents to brainstorm.
3. Cosmic Bowling Night
Most bowling alleys are open late into the night with fluorescent lights and strobe lights. Cosmic Bowling is an excellent activity for those who want avoid the Halloween festivities. Bowling lanes are usually empty on October 31st. This is a great opportunity to compete in bowling family friendly. You can even meet with other Homeschool families and make teams. The Johnsons vs Thompson! Go Wild uniforms, names of teams and colors.
4. Have a costume ball
Just because trick-or-Treaters Halloween dress does not mean that your kids do not leave. Why not have a theme party with costumes biblical or historical figures? One of my friends has a party every year for homeschoolers. Last year, it was part of the Ark of Noah. Each child dressed as an animal for a game based on the improvised story of Noah's ark, simply specify that all costumes must be appropriate for a Halloween Alternative. You do not want zombies crashing your party!
5. Carve pumpkins
Carving pumpkins can be a day of fun activities along for creative homeschoolers. They do not represent the souls of the undead as long as you do not want them to! Take your homeschoolers OUT to a pumpkin patch to pick their favorite pumpkins. Mix it with gourds and pumpkins. Draw Goofy faces and carving creations stupid. You can even write inspirational messages on the pumpkins curious passers-by. Make sure to hang these pumpkin seeds flexible. You can throw them in the oven and let them dry on a crispy treat. Just add salt!
