bible believers churches

With all the recent debates on the law of attraction and success of the book, The Secret, many people wonder if they are contrary Principles teachings of the Bible. This article will highlight why they are compatible, you show what Bible verses support the law of attraction and encourage you to change your thinking.
WHAT DOES THE LAW OF ATTRACTION THIS MEAN?
In simple terms, Law of Attraction says that you have what you think best. So if you live on the positive things, you'll experience things more positively. If you live on the negative things, you will experience more negative things. Let's see how these lines with what the Bible teaches.
THINK THOUGHTS POSITIVE
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever things are lovely, all that is good value and if there is any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
So here we have the Bible instructs us to think about things that are positive. However, this particular verse does not say why. Let's see if we can find all passages that give us a clue as to why we should think of positive things.
THE EFFECTS OF THOUGHT
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23:7
The above verse of Proverbs shows that our thoughts create what we become. As we believe, too. If our thoughts have much impact on our lives, then we better give some attention to them. But how do we know what are our thoughts? The thought is happening on such a subconscious level that we're often not even aware. So how do we know if we believe in good things?
WHAT we believe to be HOW WE SPEAK
A good man, good treasure of his heart bringeth showing that is good and a bad man, the evil treasure of his heart brings out what is wrong: for the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:35
A true test of what our thoughts are predominant is to listen to the way we speak. What's in your heart (your thoughts), will be released your mouth. The scriptures have much to say about our languages and the need to tame them.
LOAD CHECK OUR LIVES
For we all stumble in many things. If someone does not stumble in word, it is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. In fact, we put bits in horses' mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large, and are driven by winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot. James 3:2-4
Again, this writing is showing the relationship between our words and meaning of our lives take. They are connected in a way that can not be canceled. We can speak casually and think it will not have a profound effect on our lives. Because what we are talking about is what we think. And what we are talking about is the direction our lives will take.
For verily I say unto you that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed and cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that the things he says will happen, it must either be told Mark 11:23
The scripture above it wins everything for me. It shows a clear relationship between what we say what we believe in our heart (our thinking) and what will happen in our lives. If we say positive things all at the same time really believe they will come to pass – then they will.
THOUGHTS ARE seeds we SOW
Do not be deceived God's not mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption but he that soweth to the Spirit shall take of the Spirit of life eternal. And let us not tire of doing good in his time, we will reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:7-9
Whatever you sow, you can expect to reap. This is true in things natural, as well. If we plant a watermelon seed, we expect to grow a watermelon, huh? We do not expect a pumpkin to grow. Why would it be otherwise with our thoughts? If we sow positive thoughts, you can expect to reap positive things. If we sow negative thoughts, we should expect reap negative things. But this suggests that our thoughts are seeds. Does the Bible support this? Yes, it's done:
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope at the end for the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. I Peter 1:13
Clearly, the kidneys are the place of creation – the source of seed. So when Peter is encouraging the early church to "gird up the loins of your mind," he told them to protect their thoughts – to stay sober and hopeful.
CONCLUSION
These lessons certainly support what the Law of Attraction says, if it does not seem to be any conflict between Principles of the Law of Attraction and the principles of the Bible. As has happened in the past, people can take these principles and try to the molding into something to their liking, rather than what God has for their lives. These work for believers and unbelievers similar principles, as it rains on the just and wrong. The difference being that the life of the believer must be obedient to God and ears should be listening to his voice, live their trajectory. A believer must be submitted no conflict between what the Bible teaches and what the Law of Attraction teaches.

Believer’s Church Bible Commentary (19 volumes in print) on CD Each volume illuminates the Scriptures; provides historical and cultural background; shares necessary theological, sociological, and ethical meanings; and, in general, makes “the rough places plain.” Critical issues are not avoided, but neither are they moved into the foreground as debates among scholars. The series aids in the interpretive process, but it does not attempt to supersede the authori… |

The Mind of the Bible Believer $9.99 Cohen sees much harm arising from the huge explosion of the Christian Right during the last two decades. He demonstrates how the indoctrination received in these churches undermines the mental health of individuals, causing widespread suffering, due to the victims’ reluctance to speak out. He also shows how this indoctrination makes bible-believers into unwitting supporters of far-right political … |
